"Meade", was an early experiment for Logan Company. We have filmed lots and lots of outdoor and site specific dance on camera, but finished or used very little of it. It represents both a challenge and an intense allure for us. But, we are more likely to put up work that is further into minimalism both in style and scenery, further into a form based practice. Nature, to me, invokes emotion, and context, in a way that we are not always desiring in our art. However, Kathryn found a way to make this work, after years of searching, because we both loved the image of it so much.
